3HP Oil Lube Stack Tank Compressor.
Product Description
Portable, electric powered compressor with 3 HP, high output, heavy-duty induction motor.
found in CWC200ST's reviews: Compressor head is OK but the extra parts are of low quality - I bought one of these compressors a couple of months ago after doing carefull research and actually going to a repair facility here in AZ that handles warranty repairs for a variety of brands. I estimate that the compressor has about 15 (fifteen) hours of use by now. You will have to tilt the compressor down and rock it side to side to get the water out, furthermore when tilted the lower drain hits the floor impedig drainage so you actually have to lift this rather heavy machine and tilt it and rockit at the same time in order to drain. Shortly after purchasing the unit one of the Quick Disconnects on the compressor will not seal itself after the hose is taken off and will merily leak all the air out in about one minute, I had to replace that so I could use the machine. For about the last five hours of use I started to notice that if left pressurized overnight the air was gone in the morning upon closer inspection I could hear a faint hiss comming from somewhere behind the regulator It was not much just enough to leak and turn the machine on about every 15 minutes even if I did not use air. Yesterday the manual regulator prooved to be the culprit as when I started the compressor for the first time it would not hold air at all. I put my head next to it to listen for the noise of air escaping and sure enough there was a faint hisssss. While I was trying to figure out where the noise is caming from The back of the manual regulator popped loose again suddenly letting all the air escape in an instant startling me and prompting my wife to ask from the kitchen some ways away: "did you do that on purpose?" Well NO. Unfortunately I have to get the exact size and probably same model since it mounts on the front panel with a plastic threaded ring and space is rather limited and, it neds to have the same ports and orintation so it can take the various hoses and ports connecting to it. Overall the tech was right the actuall compressor is well done I believe he said it was Italian made the rest is rather sloppy and not thought out well.
Die cast aluminum pump with cast iron sleeve (oilless) Compact design very lightweight Direct drive Oilless pump has sealed bearings on all reciprocating parts and Teflon-impregnated piston rings to reduce friction Manual reset overload protection

This Palmgren DIY Series AirCompressor is perfect for the at-home hobbyist or for contractors who need a portable pneumatic power source, and it is oilless for maintenance-free operation. Compressor consists of a 1HP motor, single cylinder, single stage aluminum aircompressor pump and a 1 gallon air tank. The pump runs very quietly, so that the compressor can be used in the same area that the work is taking place. Compressor is light weight and portable.
found in 92111's reviews: Palmgren bought for use in RV - Handy unit, compact size and performs well. If you need a portable unit with more punch than a battery powered compressor, this will do it!.
One-year warranty through the Dewalt factory or an authorized service center Oil lubricated pump allows for long life Cast iron cylinder enhances pump life Dual soft start valves assist in cold weather start up 4.5 cfm
found in D55155R's reviews: Superb compressor - The compressor is great and relatively quiet for what it's rated for and the size. This is probably one of the easier compressors to carry around to job sites. With Emglo's name behind it, this Dewalt compressor should withstand abuse and should last for years.
Anodized teflon cylinder and teflon/bronze-based piston ring for improved compression and reduced friction Easy to maintain, reusable foam intake filter Dynamically balanced counterweight crankshaft for reduced vibration Durable cast aluminum components for lightweight and fast heat dissipation Specially designed for use in the construction industry
found in MAC2200's reviews: Only minor criticisms - I bought this compressor for some fairly goofy reasons. I wanted a compressor with a cage, oil-less, side stacked tanks, and preferably some sort of lined cylinders. The last reason was because the Craftsman compressor that I had ( 220v 6hp/33gal ) the tank walls surface rusted and the air/water separator ( thank goodness I had one ) would eventually turn rusty red. The Makita is not all that light, but it is pretty well balanced, and compared to my Craftsman ( which isnt really fair because of the motor size ) it is much more quiet, this unit is nicely finished and recovers very quickly - usually runs about 10 seconds after I realize it is running again.
One-Year Warranty/30-Day Performance Certification Oil-free compressor can operate on slopes without risk of leaks Rugged, top load magazine for easy reloading Depth-of-drive adjustment to match nail depth to the application Quick release nosepiece for easy clearing of jams
found in CFFN250A's reviews: Excellent Value and Quality - In addition, the light weight and ideal size make it easy to work with this nailer at any angle. The compressor package truly makes it a great value. The compressor is very efficient, to the point that I was surprised it did not run more often. It is fairly quiet (as compressors go), and is light enough and is easy to carry and move around.
Max 100 PSI 25' Recoil hose, 2 inflation nozzles, inflation needles, inflation adpater, and tire chuck are included. Conveniently placed gauges for easy monitoring of air pressure Sturdy retractable handle for simple storage 3 gallon tank for greater stored air power.
found in FP204999AV's reviews: Spend more money and get a REAL compressor - I bought this compressor to use for airbrushing. It worked fine for about two months, then it just quit working! The motor runs fine, and all the valves are tight, but no air!
This is honestly a disposable compressor and I'd advise anyone considering buying a compressor to save up for a REAL compressor.
It's also one of the loudest compressors of its size that I've ever used. If you need a cheap compressor for occasional use and light duty (airing up bicycle tires, blowing out birthday candles, etc.
Starts easily under low voltage conditions Built-in thermal overload protection for added safety Dynamically balanced counterweight crankshaft design for reduced vibration Durable cast aluminum components for lighter weight and faster heat dissipation Designed especially for finish work
found in MAC500's reviews: Caution - First of all this is a light-weight, cost effective compressor.
BUT, this thing is realy loud, especially for its size.
I recommend buying a different compressor. A great portable for small jobs -
Even with these drawbacks its a great little compressor for finish carpentry. I've got the new MAC2400 on order for the shop for those higher volume needs, but I plan on keeping the MAC500 due to its small size, light weight and extreme portability.
One Year Warranty Convenient control panel has regulator, gauge, and two quick connect outlets Higher tank pressure provides more usable air per tank re-charge New high-pressure design keeps tank pressure between 110 and 135 PSI 3 HP induction motor delivers 7.7 SCFM at 40 PSI, 5.5 SCFM at 90 PSI
found in CPF23400S's reviews: Great buy - Size of the tank is fine, but its really about the horsepower of the motor and amount of air motor can put out so that you don't have long period of motor running in order to build a pressure in the tank. This 3hp engine is much better than large size tank with 2hp engine. Great for various air tools -
Size of the tank is fine, but its really about the horsepower of the motor and amount of air motor can put out so that you don't have long period of motor running in order to build a pressure in the tank. This 3hp engine is much better than large size tank with 2hp engine. Excellent compressor - quietest I've used in its category - I am never able to live without a good aircompressor. I use them for a variety of tasks from simple blowing to nailers and air hammers. As smaller aircompressors go, this one really delivers a nice, steady pressure for quite a long time.
Normally I like to blow through my air gun at about 50psi to clear sawdust. Blowing air at that pressure really drains a small compressor fast, but this one really handles it well and gives me quite a bit of extra time due to the fact that the motor really kicks in quickly and efficiently to keep the pressure up.
I couldn't outpace the compressor with a single nailer.
The two air ports is really nice in one this size because I can put the compressor underneath my workbench and mount a static line on my workbench for easy access anytime while leaving the other open for longer hoses. These sizecompressors can make an INCREDIBLE amount of noise, but the Porter-Cable 3hp 4 gallon side stack really keeps the noise level at a minimum. Don't let the handle fool you. - I bought it to replace a 1 1/2 horse 2 gallon compressor because it's twice as powerful. I know now why most compressors this size have wheels. I wanted an aircompressor that could inflate tractor tires and power air tools. I recommed this to any one looking for an good aircompressor that stays for the most part in one place. This is a SERIOUS compressor - Desipite its small size and minimal air tank capacity, this is a very serious commercial duty aircompressor. AC induction motors like the ones found in this compressor are far superior to brushed AC motors found in most "consumer" aircompressors. Because of this motor, the compressor is able to deliver air flows similar to larger 15 gallon compressors. Quite frankly, I'm amazed that anyone can sell this compressor for such a low cost. Aside from air sanding or heavy duty HVLP paint spraying, there is nothing that I cannot do with this compressor. Great little aircompressor - This aircompressor is great! This unit is fairly quiet, compact, light enough to be toted around if needed, no oil needed and very powerful. This unit replaced a 12 year old 15 gallons, 2 hp, craftsman rolling aircompressor and all I can say is that I wish I purchased this unit sooner. I like the portable size too, it doesn't take up too much room. When comparing the 2 units the Porter Cable is definitely stronger, the only difference being that when you are running any tools the compressor is running almost non stop compared to a unit with a larger tank that does not have to refill as fast. I consider this a plus though, because I always drain the tank after each use and it does not take as long to release all the air. At this price range there are many choices out there for anyone looking for a compact aircompressor but when you start to compare CFM ratings @ 90 PSI this one has the highest ratings.
One-year warranty Provides 8.6 SCFM at 40 PSI and 6.8 SCFM at 90 PSI High-flow regulator for more efficient operation of pneumatic tools Tank pressure is maintained between 110 and 135 PSI for more usable air High-pressure technology provides the equivalent of a 32-gallon air supply
found in CPL6025's reviews: Quiet, powerful with a manageable size! - If you have the same requirements, you are reading about your dream compressor. I just love this compressor!.
