found in C3150's reviews: It's a worker -
I had looked at alot of compressors from emglo (dewalt) and others. I also looked at the specifications as I wanted a compresor that would have fast recovery, and high air presure for driving nails in older existing framing. I wasn't sure I would use this feature, but it is great, as you have your air supply and regulator right where you are working.
Anodized teflon cylinder and teflon/bronze-based piston ring for improved compression and reduced friction Easy to maintain, reusable foam intake filter Dynamically balanced counterweight crankshaft for reduced vibration Durable cast aluminum components for lightweight and fast heat dissipation Specially designed for use in the construction industry
found in MAC2200's reviews: makita mac2200 compressor - top notch tool, it's the best of any of the "small" compressors i have used. i have owned several small , name brand compressors over the last ten years and this is the first one i have really been impressed with.
Kit also comes with a 25-foot airline kit with all fittings and teflon tape 1.5 hp, 5.8-gallon oil-less compressor with wheels for portability 1000 2-1/2-inch finish nails, tool oil, tool carrying case Combo pack includes a 2-1/2-inch 16-gauge finish nailer
found in CPACK200's reviews: Quality for the $ - This is the first Bostitch compressor I have used, and I find it is quieter and smoother than our Porter-Cable and Devilbis compressors of the same horse power and capacity.
Low amp draw at 14.0 Lightweight and power-packed at just 40 lbs. Pump-up time 55 seconds, recovery time 85 seconds 2.5 hp, 2-gallon tank
found in PC2061's reviews: Very Nice little compressor - Most of the bits that would tend to get knocked off during loadind and moving are enclosed in the plastic shrouding around the motor , and the air chuck is sensibly and securly mounted on top so pulling by the air hose shouldn't break it off as has happened with other compressors I've owned . Keeping in mind that it is oil less [which means they use teflon coated rings in stead of an oil bath] I would say it falls in the middle or slightly below for a decible rating of compressors of this type . Only the Thomas industries line of compressors could truly be called quiet from what I've seen. It still uses a 3450 rpm motor to get the air output/low 14 amp draw . Other machines sometimes have 1750 rpm motors which are quieter but pump less air.
One-Year Warranty/30-Day Performance Certification Oil-free compressor can operate on slopes without risk of leaks Rugged, top load magazine for easy reloading Depth-of-drive adjustment to match nail depth to the application Quick release nosepiece for easy clearing of jams
found in CFFN250A's reviews: Best Tool I Own Hands Down! - I plan on replacing all of the crown molding utilizing my Porter Cable Finish Nailer and Pancake Compressor combo and my DeWalt 12" Combo miter Saw. Excellent Value and Quality - It is fairly quiet (as compressors go), and is light enough and is easy to carry and move around.
1 year limited warranty Complete kit with quick-connects, 25' 300 psi air hose, thread sealing tape, nailer case, and wrenches Oil-free compressor produces 3.7 scfm at 40 psi and 2.7 scfm at 90 psi Nailer features cushion grip, depth of drive, piston catch, quick-release nosepiece, and directional exhaust Professional nailer shoots 3/4" to 2-1/2" 16 gauge finish nails
found in CFFN250S's reviews: Great Value - The DeWalt guns are nicer (more substantial feeling and heavier guage nails), but a DeWalt 15g costs as much as the whole PC kit. The little Engine that could. - Right up there with the table saw and the 12 inch Dewalt miter saw .
One Year Warranty Supports use of all brad and finish nailers and moderate use of framing and roofing nailers High-flow regulator allows more work at higher pressures 3 hp induction motor for quieter operation High-pressure technology provides more usable air for longer run time
found in CPF23400P's reviews: Good Quality, Great Service - There are a lot of pancake compressors on the market, but this one stands out for two reasons. If you're *anywhere* near a medium sized or larger city, spare parts and repair are just a phone call away. Maybe a good compressor, but beware of shipping -
I took the compressor to the local Porter-Cable service center and they tell me the boxes the P-C compressors come in are NOT designed to handle the rigorous treatment of UPS shipping. Poor Engineering - Air will leak from the threads of the nipple (as was the case for me) or worse. Pancake compressors due to their top heavy nature can and do rollover, and if this unit rolls onto the gauge side, sooner or later your going to have a major problem. I discovered this design flaw when I plugged my brand new compressor in and a rush of air shot out where the gauge nipple screws to the tank.
Max 100 PSI 25' Recoil hose, 2 inflation nozzles, inflation needles, inflation adpater, and tire chuck are included. Conveniently placed gauges for easy monitoring of air pressure Sturdy retractable handle for simple storage 3 gallon tank for greater stored air power.
found in FP204999AV's reviews: Spend more money and get a REAL compressor - I bought this compressor to use for airbrushing. It worked fine for about two months, then it just quit working! The motor runs fine, and all the valves are tight, but no air!
This is honestly a disposable compressor and I'd advise anyone considering buying a compressor to save up for a REAL compressor.
It's also one of the loudest compressors of its size that I've ever used. If you need a cheap compressor for occasional use and light duty (airing up bicycle tires, blowing out birthday candles, etc.
One-year warranty Rugged cast-iron cylinder Performs at above average working pressures Delivers 3.6 cfm at 125 psi Powerful 2 hp electric motor
found in AM780-HC4V's reviews: Great But ... - I have several compressors, but since this is light and runs on 15 am circuits it is the preference for small volume needs such as small nail guns, tires and especially jobs where transporting the compressor is required. On a hot day with poor air circulation the motor start capacitor blew. Since this was the only issue with the tool I decided it made sense to repair. My standard motor repair shop wouldn't touch it. The Emglo repair center wanted an exhorbitant amount for the capacitor ($$).
