found in PC0947's reviews: Think twice - The compressor cannot build up pressure to run the nailer. I called Senco; they were insulting and implied I did something wrong. Buy this product and deal with Senco at your own risk. My new favorite tool! -
THE COMPRESSOR: The PC1010 will change the industry. For homeowners, hobby woodworkers, and customer service professionals in the cabinetry industry this is the perfect compressor. There is no need to lug around a 4 or 6 gallon compressor for a little brad nailer. You can easily carry the nailer, hose, and bread box sized compressor in one hand. I nailed right through the recovery time, and never had to wait for the compressor to before driving any brads. However, rumor has it that Senco guns work best with Senco brads, and the local home improvement stores sell mostly PC and Bostich. I would not recommend the PC1010 for anyone who wants to drive anything larger than 18ga brads, or run multiple air tools from a single compressor. Also - the compressor is so new that Senco has very limited literature on it, but I would be willing to bet they will get this taken care of soon. If you purchased from an authorized dealer, and you have any problems with your equipment, I recommend calling Senco directly. Senco brad nailer/compressor combo - Senco PC0947 - don't buy it! - Thought this compressor would be the answer for smaller jobs. I bought the compressor only as I own senco guns already. It lasted only three small jobs, maybe 300 fasteners shot with this compressor and it stopped working. Easy, Light - And I don't have to lug around a giant compressor. No such problem on the Senco. This contractor is very pleased... with the compressor - I own several portable compressors, but hate to lug them around. The little compressor is lightweight and perfect for small jobs like these. On bigger jobs I still use one of my heavy duty compressors. I already had a Senco XP 25 and prefer it. compressor try's hard but comes up a bit short - Of course it was the compressor which broke, the part with the 90 day warranty. Senco is a good company, but I think this little compressor is not quite up to the quality of their other products. In my case it was the 1/4" copper tubing which brings the air to the tank that failed. I have fixed it with some liquid steel, since I'm on a job with it, I'm hoping the repair lasts till I have time to replace to tubing. I have used this to build two large bookcase and cabinet projects so far, and in doing so I have learned the compressors limitations. I bought this combo for the light weight of the compressor, so I guess there must be some compromises. This won't take the place of more powerful compressors, but it is great for carrying to and from a job. I'm not sure I would recommend this product, the 90 day warranty on the compressor is a big negative. Very Satisfied - The compressor is small and light, easily fits in the trunk or back seat, a breeze to move from place to place. I live in an apartment, and I agree with others who have found the noise level lower than other compressors, a blessing in that environment.
Not having any experience with air tools, yet knowing it was the way to go to install casing and baseboard in my kitchen remodel, I agonized over whether to get a brad or finish nailer. I suspect Senco was listening, since the grip that came with it is improved.

At just a foot high and less than two feet wide out of the carton, this compressor was quite a bit smaller than we expected, so to be fair, we quickly lowered our expectations. The joke was on us, though, because this little powerhouse just doesnt quit, and we learned that you cant judge a compressor by its size. Emglos half-century in the compressor business is evident in this model, and with a couple of small exceptions (well get into that in a minute), we dont think anyone could make a finer piece of air power. Now, this may be a plus or a minus in your book, but we liked the fact that the compressor is factory set to power on at 100 psi an+d shut off at 120 psi, and the cycle time was under 15 seconds.) It has air aplenty for two nailers at once, and with that fast recovery, the job will get done in no time.
In balance, this is one of the best compressors weve seen for the size, power, ruggedness and incredible portability it offers. Heres to a great pairing of two great toolmakers.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste

found in D55155's reviews: Solid Performer. - I am a general contractor who needed a better compressor to do small framing jobs and finish jobs on site. It will run my Senco 41XP finish nailer with very few cycles and never fails to set a nail. Mine was a reconditioned unit and I have never experienced any problems and I use it, the larger tank does need to be drained regularly though, overall good compressor. DeWalt takes a classic to a new level - Last yearI spent many months researching a replacement for my ailing Campbell-Hausfeld oilless compressor. Originally I figured the CH had a higher air output, needed no oil changes, would work on slopes and start in cold weather. After forking over the big bucks and putting it to work for DeWalt's 30 Day trial period I couldn't believe I'd gone so long without this compressor. 1) First of all the Emglo name on the unit reassured me that I was getting a tool built by the industry leader with a great reputation for tough, dependable compressors. The first day on the job proved it with quick cycling times and ample air at all times. I do a lot of work in luxury high rises and I've often left the compressor at home rather than drag it down endless corridors. I've paid for the compressor already in labor savings by bringing it to every trim job. I've had othe craftsmen come over and ogle the compressor and ask questions about it, but mostly admiring it.I am percieved as a serious craftsman based on my setup (along with my Senco SFN-40)which is good for referrals.
In short, this is a serious tool for the professional contractor with loads of power(delivered air), durability, great design and looks. My only complaint is the air release lever, an otherwise solid unit mounted on the underside of the tank. The opening is too narrow for your hand and the sharp stream of air can actually cut your skin. In addition the compressor shoots out small chunks of ICE from the tank creating dangerous projectiles that will cut your hand or riccochet into your eye. Finally, I have a compressor that won't roll around in the back of the truck knocking off gauges and connections as I drive through the city.

found in CFBN200A's description: Here they've packaged their hard-working 18-gauge brad nailer with its power source--a 15 amp, 120-volt, 6-gallon compressor driven by a 2-horsepower oil-free motor. Fill up the nailer with standard 18-gauge brads from 3/4 inch to 2 inches long, hook up, and you're ready to install baseboards, chair rails, moldings, even make quick work of those wooden craft items like country shelves and vegetable bins. The kit comes with quick connects, 25 feet of 150 psi air hose and thread sealing tape.
found in CFBN200A's reviews: I'm very happy with the nailer AND Amazon - I investigated cordless nailers from Paslode (too expensive) and Senco (questionable reliablilty) before settling on the Porter-Cable CFBN200A Combo from Amazon. The compressor charges quickly but is quite loud, but it only kicks on (after the initial charge) after a lot of brads are fired. So don't let mine and other comments about the compressor noise scare you.

found in EC12's reviews: Hitachi quaility and plenty of air. - This compressor has outlasted several other brands. We simply do not run out of air no matter how fast we are working with the Senco SFN40's.
While I have given this compressor a 5 star rating, there are some things for the engineers (and you!) to think about in the next model: 1. This means you have to hold it out away from your body a bit more than the size of the compressor would promise.
These are relatively small gigs on a really great compressor.

found in PC2061's reviews: Very Nice little compressor - This is a great little compressor from Senco's discontinued line of Accuset tools . I spoke with Senco and they informed me that some of the Accuset line will be rebadged as Senco , hopefully this would be one of their included picks .
I like this compressor because of its relatively light weight [39 pds. Most of the bits that would tend to get knocked off during loadind and moving are enclosed in the plastic shrouding around the motor , and the air chuck is sensibly and securly mounted on top so pulling by the air hose shouldn't break it off as has happened with other compressors I've owned . Keeping in mind that it is oil less [which means they use teflon coated rings in stead of an oil bath] I would say it falls in the middle or slightly below for a decible rating of compressors of this type . Only the Thomas industries line of compressors could truly be called quiet from what I've seen.
As for qaulity and performance , I had to replace 4 rooms of carpeting about 9 years ago due to a "leak free" oil bath compressor so I switched to these oiless types and have found them to be flawless and I've never looked back. Obviously you wouldn't run a large framing crew with it , then you'd have a gas powered compressor. It still uses a 3450 rpm motor to get the air output/low 14 amp draw . Other machines sometimes have 1750 rpm motors which are quieter but pump less air.
One Year Warranty Convenient control panel has regulator, gauge, and two quick connect outlets Higher tank pressure provides more usable air per tank re-charge New high-pressure design keeps tank pressure between 110 and 135 PSI 3 HP induction motor delivers 7.7 SCFM at 40 PSI, 5.5 SCFM at 90 PSI
found in CPF23400S's reviews: good unit - I run this unit with the PC FC350 frame gun and I also use it with my Senco SNC40 trim gun .
