found in C3550's reviews: Great product, check for needed accessories - My one complaint is that the manual is not very helpful for those of us who have not used air tools before. It's like getting a toy without the batteries, if you do not have all the required atachments when the compressor arrives.
One Year Warranty Convenient control panel has regulator, gauge, and two quick connect outlets Higher tank pressure provides more usable air per tank re-charge New high-pressure design keeps tank pressure between 110 and 135 PSI 3 HP induction motor delivers 7.7 SCFM at 40 PSI, 5.5 SCFM at 90 PSI
found in CPF23400S's reviews: Frustrated with the technical assistance - I received my compressor and unpack it. So, I took the manual to see if they have some instructions about this kind of problem. The first thing I've read on the manual was: "DO NOT RETURN THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT TO THE RETAILER". I went there with the compressor and they took it and said to leave it there for one day, and on the next day they should call me to pick it up. Ohhh! Come on!!! I can't believe that! The most common and cheap part of a compressor they don't have in stock!? Is that kind of technical assistance we have from Porter Cable when we just buy a brand new compressor and need it working??? I think I should send it back and bought another from another company, because, now, I'm just waiting and I can't do my job. Heavy Duty versatility - First off I am a homeowner, not a contractor and have been using this compressor in my house to do renovation trim work for over two years. It is a fantastic compressor for my purposes. I run one in to my garage for airing my tires, and one in the shop for projects. Yes you do need to break the machine in but that is all in the owner's manual. When I move the compressor in to a room I am renovating, the two outlets also let me have two tools going at the same time, i. I will tell you it is LOUD but so are all compressors in this class, and this one is not as loud as my last old Campbell-Hausfeld. So if you are planning on moving your compressor around a lot, this is the WRONG compressor for you. But if you want a relatively stationary compressor with greater than ordinary capabilities, you may agree this is the ticket. Don't know yet - I spoke with the owner of the company, Kim Allen, and he said that I would need to have it repaired under the warranty. After several calls to the toll-free number in the manual to the factory, I was put in touch with a repair facility an hour away and was told they don't stock the part but could order it and get it back to me in a few days. Hopefully, PC will come though without me spending four round trip hours and a week without a compressor.

found in CPL6025's reviews: Great Compressor!! - I use this compressor in a wood shop and it provides enough air pressure for all my needs. The output pressure valve is convenient and easy to use so you don't have to spend a lot of time trying to set the proper air pressure for the tool you are using. All in all, this is a great compressor that can handle a large variety of jobs. Be sure to read manual before operating the machine it offers very good advice that should be followed.

found in CPF6025VP's reviews: Some problems, poor service policy, impressive specs -
Be warned, the Porter Cable service policy as stated in the manual is essentially: Don't return a defective unit to the retailer. You pay the shipping(not cheap on a 130 pound compressor).
One year warranty/30 day performance certification 8.3 scfm at 40 psi, 6.1 scfm at 90 psi Two gallon tanks provide four gallons of air supply Oil-free design-no spillage or work contamination 15 amp, 2 hp induction motor starts and runs on household current
found in CF2400's reviews: A terrific value - The instruction manual is well thought out and very understandable. I have had no problems increasing the length of air hose, it keeps up no matter what. I cannot testify to it's capacity as a commercial unit, but if you need a dependable, moderate use compressor, this is the one.
