Starts easily under low voltage conditions Built-in thermal overload protection for added safety Dynamically balanced counterweight crankshaft design for reduced vibration Durable cast aluminum components for lighter weight and faster heat dissipation Designed especially for finish work
found in MAC500's reviews: A great portable for small jobs - It keeps up fine for this type of work and is not designed for high volume usage (spray painting, sandblasting, etc) As a blow tool for clearing sawdust in the shop, it struggles to keep up.
Even with these drawbacks its a great little compressor for finish carpentry. I've got the new MAC2400 on order for the shop for those higher volume needs, but I plan on keeping the MAC500 due to its small size, light weight and extreme portability. Caution - First of all this is a light-weight, cost effective compressor.
I recommend buying a different compressor. The part that broke off was not the large motor section but the small separate connector section containing the pressure dials.
Accessories are included for convenient use right out of the box. Compressor offers automatic shut-off feature. Bonus nailer kit is included with a 2 in 1 1-1/4" brad nailer and 1-1/4" stapler. The sturdy handle allows for comfortable handling and simple storage. 1 Gallon tank offers additional stored air capacity. Tank eliminates pulsations caused by piston action.
found in FP202899AV's reviews: Dont Buy this!!! - Still this thing didnt help me @ all, in fact it managed to drain any available air i had in my tire out. Problems:: 1) Never built up enough pressure in tha tank to inflate tires 2) Couldnt even maintain airpressure, airpressure dropped dramatically when attempting to fill tires. 3) It actually aided in draining remaining air out of tires. 4) My car is really screwed now, since i only have 17lbs of air in 1 tire.

found in MK5HGA-8P's reviews: Built like a tank ! - It comes completely assembled ! All you need to add is compressor oil, motor oil and gasoline. It sits low to the ground so is pretty stable (how many times have you pulled over one of the high riding compressors when you tried to get just a few more inches away.
One year warranty/30 day performance certification 8.3 scfm at 40 psi, 6.1 scfm at 90 psi Two gallon tanks provide four gallons of air supply Oil-free design-no spillage or work contamination 15 amp, 2 hp induction motor starts and runs on household current
found in CF2400's reviews: A terrific value - I have used this with a finish nailer, and framing nailer, each time it has kept the pressure at an optimum level. It has a pressure adjustment knob that is easy to reach, and operate. I have had no problems increasing the length of air hose, it keeps up no matter what. I cannot testify to it's capacity as a commercial unit, but if you need a dependable, moderate use compressor, this is the one.
