found in MG8HGA-8P's reviews: Emglo - this is one of only few BEST compressors on market. only one competition - Roll Air. On The Job MUST! - This Compressor is the standard on all the job sites I have been on. I've seen this compressor survive some serious blows (pardon the pun). Emglo is the way to go with compressors.
2 cylinder cast iron pump Integrated control panel Dual voltage switch Dual control 1/4 NPT soft seat drain valve
found in MK2A8P-DVS's reviews: Cheers! Cheers! Cheers! - for offering such an excellent aircompressor. I must admit, at first I thought the price was kind of costly, but the Emglo reputation finally convinced me to purchase. Once I received my compressor I have been nothing but completely satisfied. I am in the business where an aircompressor is worth its weight in gold. And in the past I have seen several bargain compressors do their job but suffer and die within a years time. A friend of mine turned me on to Emglo and I have praised him ever since.

found in M990-HC4V's reviews: Heavilly dissapointed - Product- Emglo 990 2 1/2 H. Compressor Reviewer: James M Dube I use to frame for a living, now i do trim .Now let get to the real engineering feet, the mounting hardware that holds the compressor unit to the frame. This is the worst set up i have ever seen,i am so dissapointed in Emglo product.
One-year warranty Automatic start/stop Overload protected, low amp draw Delivers 2.6 cfm at 125 psi Powerful 2 hp electric motor
found in AM700-HC4V's reviews: AM700 vs AM780 and M790 - Upon inspection the AM700 is clearly a consumer model compressor. The price is very good but I wouldn't expect the run time that we see with the am78 pump assemblies used on the AM780 and the M790's. It also requires more oil than the am78 pump, not to mention the cheezy air filter. Although as a consumer model I believe this unit is far superior to an oiless compressor.
I will give Emglo credit for finally packaging oil with their hand carry units. Great, most of the time. - I am a roofer and I am constantly running two roofing nailers off my compressor. This compressor is great for the fact that it can keep up with two proffesional roofers all day long. Emglo needs to come up with a better idea for the air filter, it's cheap plastic that breaks and comes off every time it is slightly bumped. I've had to replace the air filter on mine three times now. Other than that I run my compressor all day long with no major mechanical problems.
One-year warranty Rugged cast-iron cylinder Performs at above average working pressures Delivers 3.6 cfm at 125 psi Powerful 2 hp electric motor
found in AM780-HC4V's reviews: 11 Yrs. and Still going - I'll never buy anything but Emglo. The compressor I've aways wanted. - I have been looking for a small compressor for my home shop and after an exhastive search I have found it. So far the compressor has exceeded my expectations. It is a small and inexpesive item but one of those nice touches that would give Emglo better P. Great But ... - I have several compressors, but since this is light and runs on 15 am circuits it is the preference for small volume needs such as small nail guns, tires and especially jobs where transporting the compressor is required. Example, a framer and helper will easily outrun the production capability of the compressor with one gun. On a hot day with poor air circulation the motor start capacitor blew. Since this was the only issue with the tool I decided it made sense to repair. My standard motor repair shop wouldn't touch it. The Emglo repair center wanted an exhorbitant amount for the capacitor ($$). The time I spent calling around and shopping for the replacement part far exceeded the value of simply replacing the compressor unit.
One-year warranty Rugged cast-iron cylinder High-profile gauge panel Delivers 3.6 cfm at 125 psi Powerful 2 hp electric motor
found in M790-HC4V's reviews: Defective out of the box - I was very excited to receive my Emglo M790-HC4V aircompressor today. After I installed the oil in the compresor crankcase and turned it on, the motor hummed loudly as though it had a shorted winding and refused to turn the compressor. After close examination, I was surprised to see that the compressor / motor unit is mostly a white metal casting that is secured to the chassis with self tapping screws.
One-year warranty Features 1/4 NPT soft seat drain valve Rugged cast-iron cylinder provides maximum durability Integrated high-profile panel houses regulator gauges and universal quick couplers Powerful 2-horsepower electric motor delivers 3.8 cfm at 125 psi
found in M800-HC4V's reviews: "THE MACHINE" - THE EMGLO M800 IS THE AIRCOMPRESSOR "MACHINE"TO HAVE.NO JOB IS TO SMALL OR TO BIG TO USE THE EMGLO.EASY READ DIALS,FAIRLY QUITE WHEN ITS RUNNING. Handy little machine! - I bought this little guy to occasionally run my finish nailer, blow some sawdust around, and pump up a low tire every now and then. Because the fittings use air pressure to seal themselves, you can pull the line right out of the fitting when there is no pressure in the tanks. Works fine and the leak is no more!
The controls are nice and easy to use, and the single handle makes it easy to carry the Emglo in one hand and the hose in the other when changing locations. Master Series - 2001 Model - I recently purchased the Master Series model 800 as my first compressor. I was aware of the reputation of Emglo and upon inspection and review of the competition, the reputation is justified. According to Emglo, the M800 is the 2001 version of the top notch M790, slightly more capacity with all the power and great Master Series features. This is a great compressor I would recommend to anyone.
