found in C3550's reviews: Great product, check for needed accessories - I am really glad I spent the extra money for the oil-lube model. My one complaint is that the manual is not very helpful for those of us who have not used air tools before. It's like getting a toy without the batteries, if you do not have all the required atachments when the compressor arrives.
Comes complete with gun and hopper, compressor, electric motor, 50' of air hose, 25' power cord, 2-wheel dolly and instructions Two interchangeable air stem nozzles to double the range of patterns and spray pressure Cool running, 1 HP capacitor-start electric motor drives a rotary vane compressor that produces up to 30 psi when used with 3/32" air nozzle
found in GB13300's reviews: Goldblatt Trowel Trade Tools GB13300 Pattern Pistol with Compressor - I was delighted when the shipment arrived earlier than expected. Once I opened the box, I was dismayed to find a bag of parts requiring assembly. One part, the oil reservoir was completely broken. I immediately sent the unit out for repair. Fortunately, the repairman was able to use parts from an old non-working unit to fix the new unit so it is operational.
One-year warranty Rugged cast-iron cylinder Performs at above average working pressures Delivers 3.6 cfm at 125 psi Powerful 2 hp electric motor
found in AM780-HC4V's reviews: Great But ... - I have several compressors, but since this is light and runs on 15 am circuits it is the preference for small volume needs such as small nail guns, tires and especially jobs where transporting the compressor is required. Example, a framer and helper will easily outrun the production capability of the compressor with one gun. On a hot day with poor air circulation the motor start capacitor blew. Since this was the only issue with the tool I decided it made sense to repair. My standard motor repair shop wouldn't touch it. The Emglo repair center wanted an exhorbitant amount for the capacitor ($$). I bought an equivelent capacitor over the web ($$ +s&h) only to have that blow after about a month of use under hard load. The time I spent calling around and shopping for the replacement part far exceeded the value of simply replacing the compressor unit. And of course now I now have low confidence in the reliability.
Starts easily under low voltage conditions Built-in thermal overload protection for added safety Dynamically balanced counterweight crankshaft design for reduced vibration Durable cast aluminum components for lighter weight and faster heat dissipation Designed especially for finish work
found in MAC500's reviews: Caution - First of all this is a light-weight, cost effective compressor.
I recommend buying a different compressor. The part that broke off was not the large motor section but the small separate connector section containing the pressure dials.
One Year Warranty Convenient control panel has regulator, gauge, and two quick connect outlets Higher tank pressure provides more usable air per tank re-charge New high-pressure design keeps tank pressure between 110 and 135 PSI 3 HP induction motor delivers 7.7 SCFM at 40 PSI, 5.5 SCFM at 90 PSI
found in CPF23400S's reviews: Better than the pancake model - I've used the smaller Porter-Cable pancake compressor for about 2 years.
This model excels in a few areas over the smaller one. Believe it ir not, though, when it does run it is quieter than the smaller one and it runs a fraction of the time before it cuts off. It is definitely less annoying. The only thing I don't think is an improvement is the knob for adjusting air pressure.
This time I installed the compressor with the air hose reel from Amazon mounted right beside it on the floor. If you get the reel, you'll probably need to make a trip to the local hardware store for an interconnecting piece to connect the reel to the compressor.
I'm really happy with this tool -- its quiet operation (well, relative to the other one), short run time, and it stows out of the way in the same space I had the smaller one in. Great Buy, but heavy to move around. - This is the fourth compressor that I have bought. Had I known, I would have purchased the next model up which comes with wheels. Don't let the handle fool you. - I bought it to replace a 1 1/2 horse 2 gallon compressor because it's twice as powerful. I know now why most compressors this size have wheels. I wanted an aircompressor that could inflate tractor tires and power air tools. It is very quiet and appears to be very well made. I recommed this to any one looking for an good aircompressor that stays for the most part in one place. This Portable Compressor is Rugged and Well Built ! - Surprised and impressed! I looked at Home Depot and Lowes and decided to order this aircompressor to save the Tax and the trouble of bring it home.
It was delivered to my door by U. The best part is that I didn't have to stuff this big box in the back of my car to bring it home. Thats starting with the tank completely empty.
Looking at the other brands of portable compressors I really like how well this one is built. Don't know yet - Kimco, in Delta, OH, told me they would send a call tag for the defective unit and send me another one. I spoke with the owner of the company, Kim Allen, and he said that I would need to have it repaired under the warranty. After several calls to the toll-free number in the manual to the factory, I was put in touch with a repair facility an hour away and was told they don't stock the part but could order it and get it back to me in a few days. I contacted Porter Cable customer service and was told there is no reason why Kimco should not replace the unit - in fact, the very helpful customer service rep even explained that Porter Cable would pick up the return shipping costs. Hopefully, PC will come though without me spending four round trip hours and a week without a compressor. Frustrated with the technical assistance - I received my compressor and unpack it. I went there with the compressor and they took it and said to leave it there for one day, and on the next day they should call me to pick it up. Ohhh! Come on!!! I can't believe that! The most common and cheap part of a compressor they don't have in stock!? Is that kind of technical assistance we have from Porter Cable when we just buy a brand new compressor and need it working??? I think I should send it back and bought another from another company, because, now, I'm just waiting and I can't do my job.
One-year warranty Automatic start/stop Overload protected, low amp draw Delivers 2.6 cfm at 125 psi Powerful 2 hp electric motor
found in AM700-HC4V's reviews: AM700 vs AM780 and M790 - Upon inspection the AM700 is clearly a consumer modelcompressor. It also requires more oil than the am78 pump, not to mention the cheezy air filter. Although as a consumer model I believe this unit is far superior to an oiless compressor.
One-year warranty Rugged cast-iron cylinder High-profile gauge panel Delivers 3.6 cfm at 125 psi Powerful 2 hp electric motor
found in M790-HC4V's reviews: 2001 Model - I just purchased a Master Series Model 800 (which is supposed to be the latest version of the 790) it is one sweet compressor. The controls are really well placed and the dual quick connects are awesome.
