1 year limited warranty Complete kit with quick-connects, 25' 300 psi air hose, thread sealing tape, nailer case, and wrenches Oil-free compressor produces 3.7 scfm at 40 psi and 2.7 scfm at 90 psi Nailer features cushion grip, depth of drive, piston catch, quick-release nosepiece, and directional exhaust Professional nailer shoots 3/4" to 2-1/2" 16 gauge finish nails
found in CFFN250S's reviews: A nice tidy package! - I guess to keep the price low, Porter-Cable outfitted this kit with their 135 psi pancake compressor, rather than their 150 psi compressor which is sold with their 18 gage brad nailer kit.
The positives of the kit are;
1) The 17 piece accessory kit with the pistol grip blower, 2) The gun has a balanced and quality feel, 3) Easy to load gun, 4) Easy to clear jammed nails, 5) Shorter and more streamlined design of gun, 6) Enough power to countersink a 2-1/2" nail into red oak, 7) Portable and reasonably light-weight compressor, 8) Very good sight line of nailing surface, 9) Value purchase.
The negatives of this kit are;
1) Noisy compressor, 2) Gun does not warn user when it runs out of nails, 3) Should have provided 2-1/2" nails, rather than the 2" nails, 4) Compressor's auto on/off lever can dislodge from the switch assembly when the lever is pushed/pulled at the wrong angle, 5) Must order the free black coloured trigger separately, 6) The gun will at the odd time spall the MDF moulding surface at the nail's point of entry (which means more caulking).
One Year Warranty Supports use of all brad and finish nailers and moderate use of framing and roofing nailers High-flow regulator allows more work at higher pressures 3 hp induction motor for quieter operation High-pressure technology provides more usable air for longer run time
found in CPF23400P's reviews: A good compressor to get you started. - I shopped extensively for a light duty compressor based on the following criteria: price, weight, and flow rating. First the price. It features the same motor and compressor as the PC 3HP twin stack model but is $40 cheaper and about 10 pounds lighter.
As far as flow capacity the PC 3HP is one of the best considering its price and weight.
Other than that what can I say - it pumps air. It is fairly loud, but I haven't listened to many other models to make an educated comparison. I have used it quite a bit for high air flow operations, such as blowing off dust / debris and even running an air chisel to bust up concrete. It often runs full time for 5-10 minutes and is able to keep up with air demand. If you are going to be regularly moving the compressor around, spend the extra. I actually ran a compressed air line out to my garage, so the compressor can stay put in the basement and avoid potential damage from moving it.
*** 4-year update ***
I have owned this compressor for 4+ years now and am still completely satisfied. I used a hand held, air chisel to break up the mortar joints. The compressor was operating at 100% duty cycle for 10-15 minutes at a stretch, but couldn't quite keep up with continuous use of the air chisel. As an last ditch experiment, I bought a 10 gal portable air storage tank, some extra quick disconnect fittings and rigged up a reserve tank in parallel with the 4 gallon PC tank. (yes, I am an engineer) My thinking was that I would run the crap out of my little PC and if it bit the dust, that was my excuse to buy a new compressor. I am amazed to say the PC compressor ran flawlessly for the entire chimney demo and still works fine today. Something Different Inside - The price is reasonable. A slight tug on your air hose is enough to send it rolling. good unit for the price - although i do take my large compressor i find the unit that usually comes out of the truck is this one.BUT IT'S A COMPRESSOR. if you have a need for a lightweight fairly high SCFM unit, this might fit the bill. Great Little Air Squeezer!!! - This little Porter Cable compressor is all (and more) that I expected it to be. The output should be more than adequate for my needs to run an air ratchet, blow nozzle, hand sandblaster and pressurize a small auxilliary portable tank. Works like a champ, the price was right and Amazon's Free SuperSaver Shipping made this a no-brainer bargain.
One-year warranty Rugged cast-iron cylinder Performs at above average working pressures Delivers 3.6 cfm at 125 psi Powerful 2 hp electric motor
found in AM780-HC4V's reviews: Great But ... - I have several compressors, but since this is light and runs on 15 am circuits it is the preference for small volume needs such as small nail guns, tires and especially jobs where transporting the compressor is required. Example, a framer and helper will easily outrun the production capability of the compressor with one gun. On a hot day with poor air circulation the motor start capacitor blew. Since this was the only issue with the tool I decided it made sense to repair. My standard motor repair shop wouldn't touch it. The Emglo repair center wanted an exhorbitant amount for the capacitor ($$). The time I spent calling around and shopping for the replacement part far exceeded the value of simply replacing the compressor unit. The advantages of convenience, weight and maintenance free performance come at a price.
One Year Warranty Convenient control panel has regulator, gauge, and two quick connect outlets Higher tank pressure provides more usable air per tank re-charge New high-pressure design keeps tank pressure between 110 and 135 PSI 3 HP induction motor delivers 7.7 SCFM at 40 PSI, 5.5 SCFM at 90 PSI
found in CPF23400S's reviews: Good blow for your dough - Solid construction, good power and features, and a good price - you can't really go wrong with this unit. Fast and Easy - I bought this compressor to finish my basement and enlarge my deck. The price of the compressor and nailers is still way less than paying someone to do it. If it wasn't for these air tools I wouldn't have the time to do it. Great little aircompressor - This aircompressor is great! This unit is fairly quiet, compact, light enough to be toted around if needed, no oil needed and very powerful. This unit replaced a 12 year old 15 gallons, 2 hp, craftsman rolling aircompressor and all I can say is that I wish I purchased this unit sooner. When comparing the 2 units the Porter Cable is definitely stronger, the only difference being that when you are running any tools the compressor is running almost non stop compared to a unit with a larger tank that does not have to refill as fast. I consider this a plus though, because I always drain the tank after each use and it does not take as long to release all the air. At this price range there are many choices out there for anyone looking for a compact aircompressor but when you start to compare CFM ratings @ 90 PSI this one has the highest ratings.
One-year warranty Automatic start/stop Overload protected, low amp draw Delivers 2.6 cfm at 125 psi Powerful 2 hp electric motor
found in AM700-HC4V's reviews: AM700 vs AM780 and M790 - Upon inspection the AM700 is clearly a consumer model compressor. The price is very good but I wouldn't expect the run time that we see with the am78 pump assemblies used on the AM780 and the M790's. It also requires more oil than the am78 pump, not to mention the cheezy air filter. Although as a consumer model I believe this unit is far superior to an oiless compressor.
2-gallon tank adds greater stored air capacity Up to 50% quieter than competitive models for a more comfortable work environment On-board accessory storage keeps small accessories organized and readily available Hose management system keeps hose coiled when not in use for easy transportation and compact storage Using the included hardware, the compressor can be wall-mounted freeing up valuable work space
found in FP205299AV's reviews: A great value - It won't spray paint a house or car, but has enough volume to do touch up jobs with a light duty air brush type spray gun. It will power some air drive tools as well, stapler, etc. I paid even less than the Amazon price, but the Amazon price is the best on the web when it includes free shipping.

found in MK2A8P-DVS's reviews: Cheers! Cheers! Cheers! - for offering such an excellent aircompressor. I must admit, at first I thought the price was kind of costly, but the Emglo reputation finally convinced me to purchase. Once I received my compressor I have been nothing but completely satisfied. The usefulness is well worth the price. I am in the business where an aircompressor is worth its weight in gold. And in the past I have seen several bargain compressors do their job but suffer and die within a years time.
Cast iron cylinder enhances pump life Dual soft start valves assists in cold weather start up 4 CFM delivered at 90 psi, provides rapid recovery Easy access panel with two universal couplers improves user access Factory reconditioned to perform like new!
found in D55152R's reviews: DeWalt Compressor - The compressor charges the storage tank to capacity in short order and has no leaks. This is a very nice tool for portable use and light enough to carry around to air up your tires. Considering the price and quality, I consider it to be a very good value.

found in CFFC350A's reviews: Excellent Customer Service - In the long run the price came out the same but I got myself a Delta 10" tablesaw, 16' extension ladder(fiberglass), and this framing gun compressor kit. 9th and after opening the box I noticed the compressor was damaged. I'd recommend this compressor and framing gun to any DIY person.
