I used this product - I too had a problem with the 1/4 tubing that is attached to the compressor it cracked right where it bends I used to intall wainscotting and it worked fine. overall for the price it worth it for small jobs.
Easy, Light - Most others in the same price range is 4-6 gallons. And I don't have to lug around a giant compressor.
This contractor is very pleased... with the compressor - I own several portable compressors, but hate to lug them around. The little compressor is lightweight and perfect for small jobs like these. On bigger jobs I still use one of my heavy duty compressors. Still, it's a pretty good price for both pieces, so, no real complaints here.
Very Satisfied - The compressor is small and light, easily fits in the trunk or back seat, a breeze to move from place to place. I live in an apartment, and I agree with others who have found the noise level lower than other compressors, a blessing in that environment.

Not having any experience with air tools, yet knowing it was the way to go to install casing and baseboard in my kitchen remodel, I agonized over whether to get a brad or finish nailer.

I imagine someone doing this work for their living might see some shortcomings, but give the price, portability and utility, this is a fine package.

A pleasure to use - Well, I managed to get the entire purchase price refunded, after two years of use, and immediately purchased the Dewalt 55155.
No bad feelings about P-C products, the pancake compressor just gave up the ghost early and had to be replaced with a more capable unit - so far the Dewalt seems like a super piece.
Good machine, but some packaging and assembly issues - Overall positive comments here and price led me to purchase the D55155. To my dissatisfaction, it arrived with a broken air filter and some loose items rolling around in the air tank. No, it wasn't the air filter parts, it was something metalic actually inside the closed tank! Amazon referred me to DeWalt who referred me to my local service center.

Thanks to Amazon's incredibly fast and hassle-free process for returns, I had my replacement compressor less than a week later. Unfortunately, it too had a broken air filter. But since everything else was fine, I bought a filter locally (DeWalt's replacement has yet to arrive) for $10 and kept the compressor. This was not in the first shipment and is REQUIRED before starting the unit which is something that as a first-time compressor buyer, I would not have known to do.

Used it today for the first time - I use an air hammer to break out the old windows and they require a lot of air. This compressor worked well with some catch up time but hey, it's only a 4 1/2 gallon tank. Cord wrap is fairly useless, handle makes it portable, regulator worked, switch and air release are protected. Mine was $214 after the $50 off, A9, and the old $269 price, worth that and then some.
