found in C3550's reviews: best aircompressor on market for homeowner/contractor - I just couldn't believe it this compressor kept up w/2nailers and is real quite compared to the oil-less type, I would highly recommend this for the homeowner/contractor. The only problem I had was to set the proper air pressure for the tools. This one is to be the one of the best aircompressor on the market.
One-year warranty Requires 20 amp circuit breaker Delivers 5.2 cfm at 125 psi Powerful 2-1/2 hp electric motor
found in M990-HC4V's reviews: Very good - with provisos - Just received my M990 compressor after my local small engine repair shop recommended it over others. Plenty of power, great pressure and set up for two air hoses right out of the box. Bad news is that it only ran for about ten minutes before I had a problem with it. provided excellent assistance, bottom line however is that it needed to go to the local repair shop for warranty work.
Starts easily under low voltage conditions Built-in thermal overload protection for added safety Dynamically balanced counterweight crankshaft design for reduced vibration Durable cast aluminum components for lighter weight and faster heat dissipation Designed especially for finish work
found in MAC500's reviews: moter is a bust ! - I thought that I had finally found the perfect compressor for a trim carpenter. Here was a light compressor from a company that I thought sold only quality products. It has a small footprint and is very light and it delivers a decent amount of air. After only a month of use the moter developed a problem. The service tech informed me that Makita buys the moter for this unit from another company, and it is junk! So it cost me $60 for labor to fix a 3 month old compressor. He suggested the same fix as the counter top unit for the next repair.
One Year Warranty Convenient control panel has regulator, gauge, and two quick connect outlets Higher tank pressure provides more usable air per tank re-charge New high-pressure design keeps tank pressure between 110 and 135 PSI 3 HP induction motor delivers 7.7 SCFM at 40 PSI, 5.5 SCFM at 90 PSI
found in CPF23400S's reviews: Great General Purpose Portable Compressor - I bought this compressor to run nail guns, air sand and spray paint. It is also handy to limit the pressure to safe levels for your various air tools.
I plug it directly into a 20 amp circuit and have had no problems with breakers popping. The unit does not stay on too long when it cycles, so the noise is not really a problem. It is not as loud as large upright compressors, but it does make a fair amount of noise, although not as much as I expected. I use it with a Souix air sander and it does run longer when I am working. I like to take a break every minute or so to clear dust anyway, so this is not a problem. Painting on furniture sized projects is no problem. If you take on a tractor trailer, get a bigger compressor. Great for various air tools -
I have been using 50 ft extension cord with mine and have not had any problem not enough electrical power nor having any circuit breaker ever poping.
Size of the tank is fine, but its really about the horsepower of the motor and amount of air motor can put out so that you don't have long period of motor running in order to build a pressure in the tank. Fantastic Compressor - I do crafts and wanted a compressor to replace my old one when it died. I was told by others that none of these smaller compressors would do that. No problem ! ! ! I could get most of the nuts off of one tire before the compressor would come on again. Perhaps this compressor wouldn't do for a mechanic, but for someone who changes their own tires, it does just fine. It is noisy, but I don't think any more so than any other compressor. Frustrated with the technical assistance - I received my compressor and unpack it. So, I took the manual to see if they have some instructions about this kind of problem. I went there with the compressor and they took it and said to leave it there for one day, and on the next day they should call me to pick it up. Ohhh! Come on!!! I can't believe that! The most common and cheap part of a compressor they don't have in stock!? Is that kind of technical assistance we have from Porter Cable when we just buy a brand new compressor and need it working??? I think I should send it back and bought another from another company, because, now, I'm just waiting and I can't do my job.
One-year warranty Provides 8.6 SCFM at 40 PSI and 6.8 SCFM at 90 PSI High-flow regulator for more efficient operation of pneumatic tools Tank pressure is maintained between 110 and 135 PSI for more usable air High-pressure technology provides the equivalent of a 32-gallon air supply
found in CPL6025's reviews: Great Compressor for Average Woodworker - This wouldn't be a problem, but the unit is top heavy. The setup was smooth except for trying to line up the holes to get the wire piece in that holds the handle in place--a minor design problem. I would have given 5 stars except for the packing problem.
Accessories are included for convenient use right out of the box. Compressor offers automatic shut-off feature. Bonus nailer kit is included with a 2 in 1 1-1/4" brad nailer and 1-1/4" stapler. The sturdy handle allows for comfortable handling and simple storage. 1 Gallon tank offers additional stored air capacity. Tank eliminates pulsations caused by piston action.
found in FP202899AV's reviews: handy for small jobs - I have had zero problems with the combo in the four months since I have had them. I am not sure if this is a problem with all stapler/nailer comos or just this one, But its nothing a little putty won't fill.

found in CPF6025VP's reviews: Some problems, poor service policy, impressive specs - I was able to correct the problem by re-drilling one of the wheel mounting holes. You pay the shipping(not cheap on a 130 pound compressor).
One-year warranty Features 1/4 NPT soft seat drain valve Rugged cast-iron cylinder provides maximum durability Integrated high-profile panel houses regulator gauges and universal quick couplers Powerful 2-horsepower electric motor delivers 3.8 cfm at 125 psi
found in M800-HC4V's reviews: Handy little machine! -
My only problem with it when it arrived was a leak in the plastic line that equalizes the pressure between the tanks. Because the fittings use air pressure to seal themselves, you can pull the line right out of the fitting when there is no pressure in the tanks.
